COVID-19 Notice to Our Patients:

Thank you for your interest in our practice. We hope that you and your loved ones are remaining well as we all seek to limit the relentless spread and effects of the novel Coronavirus. Our first priority should be to our collective safety and health.

Beginning March 25, 2020, and ending April 25, 2020, all elective procedures will be postponed per order of the Executive Director of Utah Public Health. In addition, Utah Vein Specialists will continue to limit, as much as possible, social contact between its staff and patients. To that end, we will not be available for new patient consultations, in-person screenings, or other personal interaction with non-established patients. We will be available for limited patient contact as necessary to continue patient care, and will continue to do so in a limited way until directed otherwise by circumstances and public-health concerns.

If you are a patient unknown to our practice, and you are interested in seeking an evaluation for your symptoms or varicose veins, please call our office. We can interview you briefly over the phone, begin to coordinate a more appropriate time for an evaluation, and institute compression care if it is appropriate. In this way, you can institute conservative measures now, as would be required by most insurance carriers if more treatment is indicated later.

Thank you again for your interest. We look forward to meeting you soon. In the meantime, please remain safe and healthy.

Sincerely,

Peter E. Jensen, MD FACS
