At 76 Years of Age, Thanks to You I Feel Like 19 Again!
"For many years I have suffered with swollen legs and unsightly veins in both of my legs. From the age of 19 years of age I have intermittently wrapped my legs with elastic bandages to elevate the pain.
In January of this year I was out walking and jogging and slipped and fell on the ice. I broke both the tibia and the fibula, although the skin was not broken I literally separated my foot from my ankle. This resulted in surgery where a rod was placed in my leg from my ankle to my knee, with pins in both the ankle and the knee. I was suffering with a lot of swelling.
When I came to visit you in July of this year, you gave me a thorough examination, after which you said to me," This is just straight forward, you need this done, let me be your hero." I tell you doctor Jensen, you are my hero.
The swelling in my legs have gone my legs are better than they have been since I was 19. You have given me a renewed vigor, my legs feel so much better to say nothing of how much better they look. At 76 years of age, thanks to you I feel like 19 again.

I Don't Get the Swelling or Pain in my legs at the End of the Day Anymore!

The Procedure Went Smoothly and I was Comfortable the Entire Time!
"I want to thank you for the caring and professional service I received recently for my varicose vein removal. I was apprehensive about having a vein removed and actually postponed having the procedure done several months. Previously I had two unrelated surgeries and found the recovery period to be uncomfortable and more limiting physically than I had expected. I also was concerned that some vein clinics in the Salt Lake valley use general anesthesia while your practice suggested the use of local anesthetic was sufficient.
I appreciated your direct and clear explanations of the procedure I was to receive and your answers reassured me and gave me total confidence in you. When I arrived for my procedure I asked Ashley for a Valium pill because I was still a little nervous about having the procedure while fully awake knowing elsewhere it was routine to sedate the patient. However, during the surgery, I appreciated being awake--especially knowing that my ability to communicate any discomfort would make the procedure safer and more effective.
I was also glad I wouldn't have to deal with the recovery and side effects of sedation. It was actually very interesting to observe what was happening on the ultrasound screen. The most discomfort was the occassional "bee sting" of the injection of the anesthetic, and that was minimal. The procedure went smoothly and I was comfortable the entire time. I appreciated the care and skill you and your staff demonstrated. Best of all were the warm chocolate chip cookies and milk ready for me when I was finished!
Additionally, your availability if I had any needs following the procedure was reassuring and I appreciated you calling later to make sure I wasn't having any problems. Amazingly I had no pain, in fact, I didn't need to take any Advil later at all. I was able to move about pretty much as usual.
